Yes! Where the heck is spring? No complaining is right when she finally comes.
You are indeed a poet! As a fairly recent follower, these previous lovely posts are new to me. I LOVE both of them. Beautiful pictures too. Thank-you!
You are very generous, Ellen. Thank you!
Yes, you are a poet who just doesn’t know it! These are delightful poems Cynthia full of fun and power. Look out winter, spring is about to kick some A!
Beautiful poems and images, Cynthia and Hamlin! And thank you for the link on the cardinal photo to vitalxrecognition.wordpress.com/ Cardinals don’t come this far west. I do miss them, especially in winter. 🙂
Lovely poems, Cynthia. I hope those fat flakes move on and are replaced by warm sunlight.
Lovely, bright, melodic sentiments, Cynthia!

Thanks, Ron and Vivian!
Mission accomplished…I am smiling.
Thank you, Paula!
Hooray, got Kindle downloaded for new Mac and have your new book, Cynthia! This afternoon the sun came out and at the moment we have about 65 degrees – may it head up your way quickly!
We are needing lots of patience this year waiting for spring!
Each one describes this spring perfectly!
We live in hope of warmth.
I’m blaming you for inspiring me to reblog these posts! And thank you.
Just what was needed. 🙂 A poem to spring. We woke up this morning to snow covering the surrounding hills again. Thanks, Cynthia. –Curt
They’ll do nicely, Cynthia
Oh snow, snow go away, come again another day……… far from now. Hope the spring sunshine will be with you soon.
Loved this. Thanks for sharing it made me smile and I could identify with you totally. Here comes the Spring !!
Indeed, we must tolerate all the little things that come with Spring – the ants that have decided there’s food to be found on my kitchen counter (ugh – the furthest they’ve ever made it “inland”) and the budding tulips noshed to the ground by resident deer … but after another cold winter? We’ll take it! Thanks for the rhyming Spring welcome. 🙂
Snow still? Wow!!
Loved both poems…and so understand you’d rather ‘give a bug a hug’ (made me chuckle) than shovel snow.
Lady Spring has a changing humor and shows sometime a winter look . The wonderful cardinal with summer feathers does not look happy under the iced rain.
Love ❤
Michel.

We are a couple of weeks on from that late winter storm… dare we go to the greenhouse and begin planting our annual flowers? – Oscar
