Cynthia, It all looks beautiful there, but I know from my New England days shoveling it is a lot of hard work, especially in extreme cold!
We did not get anywhere near as cold as Canada and other areas, but it was dry here. It has been too dry overall this winter.
I’m sorry it’s been so dry there. Although I whine and kvetch over the snow when there’s too much or it stays so long, I know it helps replenish our wells and waterways, and make for a better spring for gardeners and farmers.

Thanks for the chuckle. We have a very serious white garden here. I moved 4″ on Sunday, 12″ yesterday, and there are a few more inches out there to move this morning. Everything in the garden is seriously buried since we had 10″ the week before. We may still have white on the ground when spring rolls around on the calendar. 🙂

I really missed snow when I lived in the South. Now that I’m back up north, I’m not missing it so much. In my new area, they have not had this much snow since 2016.

Ahhhh … had you been down our way, you wouldn’t have seen any of that! SO happy this winter seems to be over. (Even though there is snow predicted next week.) A garden in snow is a promise …
It seems to be over, and the daffodil shoots are certainly growing.
But we Canadians can never be sure what April will bring.
And isn’t there a saying: “April is the cruellest month…”?
