FLOWERS FOR VAL

There are times when words just aren’t enough.

So I send flowers on my blog to individuals going through happy times, sad times — or just because.

This time, the flowers are for someone whom many of you may remember: my friend Valerie. With husband Chris, pet dogs, chickens, their beautiful gardens, home and farm — Val graced these pages about 4 times in the last two years, and many more times through her kind comments here.

Val is very ill right now. These flowers are sent to her from bloggers who read about her and from my own family too.

**Blogger friends: You are welcome to send a flower for Val. I will add it here.

Cynthia.

  1. Cynthia, what a beautiful bouquet for a lovely lady. You’re a kind and thoughtful friend. These flowers speak love. Thank you for including the links to the posts so we can visit her gorgeous home again.
Blessings of comfort & peace for Val, her family, and her friends ~ Wendy

      1. I have this photo in my WordPress media library. All one has to do is go to the media library, click on the image, and cut and paste the URL information for the photo into a comment. I found when replying to others in my own posts I could include the link to one of my own photos and insert it into a comment reply.

  2. Such a kind thought Cynthia – my thoughts and prayers are with Val and her family and friends. I love the bouquet and would like to contribute but am away from home at present with no photos stored on this old netbook.

  3. You brought tears to my eyes with this post and the other one about Valerie, what a kind idea Cynthia, and what a beautiful epitaph. This is a lovely way to remember and pay respects to another loved human, it’s interesting how much the internet has influenced us here too. take care Poli

  4. This was a wonderful idea Cynthia. I recognized a number of your visitors as I visit them too. It’s like walking through a neighbourhood where you actually know your neighbours. I’m feeling like I surely missed an opportunity to meet someone quite lovely when I saw Valerie with her chickens on your current post. ❤
