I enjoy your poetry Cynthia. And totally agree with the sentiments, including hesitation on the bugs, but I guess they come with warm weather. 🙂
to spring adventures
I really liked this poem, and the pictures. I understand those feelings, too. I think we are experiencing warmer temperatures here where I live in the Southern part of the United States.
I am hoping for spring for you Cynthia! Spring started here a few weeks ago but got hit with a late hard frost, so we are now finally getting flowers blooming! Love your poem and pictures! 🙂
Chuckling and delighting in the fickleness of your buggy devotion… Was just musing yesterday: is this bawdy shade of green to be named Cheap Hooker Green or Regal Green? Such calling attention to herself our local earth is doing right now.

I am sure Spring will heed your voice and come springing forth.

LOL … yes, I would take back that buggy quote too Cynthia! 🙂

You’re a witty bad girl, Aggie. I think Cheap Hooker Green has to win, hands down, don’t you?
The fresh green is such a wonderful thing. No wonder the Italians call Spring ‘La Primavera’, or ‘first green’.
Love getting such a compliment from queen of the bad ‘uns. haha, she’s still with us, and hope she visits you soon!
Spring is definitely hearing your call, along with the first of the bugs 🙂
Sorry ’bout dem bugs!
Love this poem. The pop of humor reminds me of the ridiculous promises we make out of desperation.
Another fabulous and inspiring post 🙂
Thank you, Chasidy. Glad you like it.
