Such a lovely, warm exchange. Funny that Wendy Macdonald mentions having goosebumps when hearing you on the radio, because I got them as I was reading the interview.
Cynthia, thank you for sharing your heart.
Blessings ~ Wendy
K Taylor, your comment just did the same for me. Cynthia has a way of warming hearts with her words.
It’s wonderful to learn more about you and your life Cynthia. Kudos again on getting your book and words out there to touch people. blessings, Brad
Thank you, Brad, and blessings to you too.
Together we rise!
This was such a warm and relaxing interview, thank you both. I look forward to reading An Honest House. I love when a book makes me laugh and cry.
Jill, both of her books made me laugh and cry in various parts. I agree–those kind of reads are the best.
That is a wonderful review, Cynthia!
That bible verse from Paul’s letters, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” was my mother’s favorite. She had that one bookmarked.
Isn’t that great advice? A great checklist.
Great interview! Nice to learn more about you and your husband.
Thank you!
So many things to love in this interview, and yet the nugget I’m treasuring is a bit selfish. I love that you and Hamlin–who I now see as so very solid and still in love–were unsure enough that the first date was lunch. Gives me hope for the future:). I am so happy for your book launch! Love seeing your words hit so many new receivers . . .
Thank you, K. We inspire each other, right?
A wonderful interview, and I particularly love the photo of you and Hamlin.
Thank you.
That felt like a very personal interview. But why am I surprised? An Honest House is nothing if not open and honest, like the author.
Thank you. Very much!
Great interview Cynthia! I love your honesty and courage. Thank-you for introducing me to Wendy.
Oh, good, Clare. And thank you too.
🙂
What a wonderful review ..
Thank you, Julie. Has winter started yet?
A lovely interview, shedding light on both of you. I smiled as I read it.
Thanks so much, Margaret.
Cynthia, such a wonderful interview! You are a star! xx
Ah, you say the nicest things! I USED to be a star. Now I’m just a little firefly, bumbling around in the dark, trying to shed some light on a few little things! (smile)
Your light adds a lot to the world.
