I only use my phone for emergency calls from the road, and do not use apps, but I am agree with Gallivanta I would love the Sky Guide!
The Sky Guide reminded me that at one time, this kind of knowledge was passed down from an older relative to a younger one, someone who took the youngster out at dark to go look at the sky, and point out the various constellations. This linear passing down of knowledge of the world around us seems to be quickly becoming a lost ritual, among so many.
