A Glorious Drive in The Country

One of the nicest things to do in Ontario’s early autumn, is to go for a drive in the country. We drove north of Bowmanville then east to Baltimore and Warkworth in Northumberland County. Northumberland County is east of Toronto, and is an area of outstanding natural beauty — especially in autumn.

  1. Our forests are just staying GREEN this year. Sooooo, much water this year and warm days. We usually have peak color this week. We should have a frost in the next few days. We’ll see if Fall decides to come with it. – Oscar

  2. Lovely, thanks for sharing your autumnal experience. The rolled hay bales are a favorite of mine, as well as the (guessing) Maples in fall garb. Nothing like that here, enjoying Canadian fall from afar.

  3. Your part of the world has been on my bucket list for ages, Cynthia, and while I can’t come over I enjoy being taken along by you and your husband. Thanks for the pretty pics 🙂 Have I told you that my uncle lives in Canada? Happy autumn days!
