I wish every American reading this post: Happy Thanksgiving!
I know it’s been a tough year.
May you and your loved ones find many reasons to be thankful on this important weekend.
May you be safe and well, and may you eat entirely too much (big smile).
As you know, we Canadians celebrated our Thanksgiving Day in early October. There were fewer loved ones at our table this year; we tried to bridge the distance in different ways, while looking forward to get-togethers in safer times.
Our best wishes to you, and, in these strange times, keep an eye open for blessings in unexpected places.
Cynthia and family.
Thank you for the kind words and blessings Cynthia. Yes, it’s been a strange year and we must find beauty, love, and gratitude where we can. Thanks for being part of my WP community. Hugs and blessings to you and yours.
Thank you, Brad. The same to you, my friend.
🙏 🧡
Thank you, Cynthia! And thank you for sharing that beautiful river of golden flowers! Sending much love to you, and everyone.
Thanks for your positive message. Living very near the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, I’m reminded daily that no matter how messed up we humans can be, Nature’s routines are not as sporadic (if you don’t count temperature fluctuations). Yesterday, one of the cherry trees in our churchyard had already started sprouting what should be next year’s blossoms. I wonder what the tree knows that we don’t.
Thank you so much, Cynthia. The good wishes are greatly appreciated. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for unexpected blessings. That field of Black-Eyed Susans is an excellent start. Best to you and your family, too. 🙂

Thank you! Next year will be a better one. I am thankful for all the instant communication we have to stay in touch with loved ones.
Thank you for your good wishes, Cynthia, much appreciated!

Thank you Cynthia. I have a feeling that things will be getting better from here on out.
I certainly hope so! I hope there will be greater stability there, which matters a lot to your closest neighbours here in the north.
Me too. If nothing else I’m sure we’ll be friendlier.
Lovely words, blessings and a swath of one of my favourite fall flowers…how delightful! Thank you, Cynthia! I sent greetings to my American family this morning. They are spending the day staying safe, apart from those who usually gather around their tables. We spoke of how much we are grateful for in spite of all…Thanksgiving indeed.
Well, this is late in the day because I wrote but did not hit post!
I enjoyed reading this post, and I heard your genuine voice. As I think of the USA right now, I wish them Happy Thanksgiving also.
Thanks, Cynthia! A very tough year. But 2021 promises to be more hopeful.
