A Good Home

Joy and Peace…

… to you this Christmas season!

I’m in the middle of one of the tasks I find stressful : Wrapping gifts! I keep telling myself: That’s what tissue paper and gift bags are for – but here I am, wrapping gifts. So I decided to stop and post a cheerful greeting.

The white amaryllis above is a first for me. I always grow red amaryllis for Christmas. It won’t replace my reds, but I quite like the peaceful feeling of this one.

So there you have it: the Christmas tree for joy and the white amaryllis for peace.

My best wishes to you and your loved ones.

Cynthia.

  1. A white amaryllis for peace and a beautiful Christmas tree…thank you for sharing. May your gift wrapping bring you satisfaction when it is all done! Be well. I wish you and your family a lovely holiday. Merry Christmas.

  2. I love the feeling of the table setting with the lamp, glasses, and white amaryllis. Thanks for pausing your holiday gift-wrapping to reach out Cynthia. Wishing you and yours many blessings this holiday and new year. Merry Christmas! 🎄💖

  3. Your good wishes reciprocated, Cynthia. I still have stocking presents to wrap – they are not so difficult because Santa doesn’t have to be so careful as the rest of us I like the amaryllis

  4. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Cynthia. I don’t like wrapping either. My daughter did so much of it for through the years but too far away now. She’s the wrapping queen. I had very little to wrap and glad it’s done. I love the smell of Amaryllis as much as the colors.

  5. What a perfect and sweet Christmas greeting. Thank you. I hope your holidays were wonderful, and that the year ahead will be, too. All sorts of challenges and joys!
