Snow-Day Dreaming….

It’s Winter. In Canada. There’s lots of snow. And it’s cold.

So of course, I hanker for gardens. Like these, 2 of my favourites:

  1. I’m hankering for gardens and flowers too Cynthia. I love the family garden of Mary and Bob! Maybe they would like a live-in helper? XD I’d actually like a caretaker job on some property to take care of. To winter day-dreaming. 🙂

  2. Wow, these are beautiful places! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Beautiful! Although it’s winter here, today I’ve been writing outside in shorts and a tee-shirt. This definitely makes for an easier winter.

  4. We’re doing a lot of hankering down here too!

  5. These are so beautiful, Cynthia! We’ve had a mild winter here but I know a lot of people have been hit hard. These gardens remind us of the beauty to come! 🙂

  6. Wow … that’s the simple word that I keep repeating, looking at these gorgeous lush gardens. Now you’ve got me dreaming of them too 🙂

  7. These are wonderful gardens! No wonder you dream of them in your snow-bound home!

  8. Absolutely! I’m hankering too 🙂 Winter is clinging on in the UK.
Happy Sunday, Cynthia! So sorry about your good friend, Bill.

  9. Mary and Bob’s garden is such an inspiration, so your post is perfectly timed for late winter afternoons spent day dreaming by the fire.

  10. I hope spring is coming soon 🙂

  11. I’m inspired by these amazing gardens… especially since your growing season must be very short in Toronto!

  12. That second garden is amazing!

  13. I understand. Lovely gardens to think about.

  14. Margaret Mair

Thank you. I needed this reminder of sun and gardens thriving and blooming.

  15. These are beautiful remembrances, Cynthia! I love the idea of garden as canvas. The same could be said of Parkwood. Thank you for the tour of sunny green places on this winter day!

  16. I’m with you Cynthia and although we do not have the snow, its felt like a long cold winter. I’m very ready for Spring.

  17. Beautiful gardens! They made me think of an estate we would tour when I was a child. The gardens seemed huge and magnificent to me now. And I still think of the reflecting pool when I need a peaceful place to go in my mind:

  18. Luckily winter seems over here and there are flowers popping up all over my garden, lifting my spirits! I understand how you feel though and hope, spring will come your way soon, Cynthia.

  19. Both beautiful gardens are certainly something to dream about. Keep dreaming, stay warm and spring will come before you know it.

  20. The second one is gorgeous. It made my gardening pulse quicken. 🙂
